The process of purchasing a second-hand biomass boiler from GlenFarrow
1.
Collection of boiler
Upon purchase we will liaise with the original biomass boiler owner to decommission the appliance. We will then transport the boiler to our yard where we will carry out any necessary remedial/cosmetic works.
2.
Planning permission
Planning permission will then be prepared and submitted to local council, with our assistance provided throughout the process.
3.
Installation and commissioning
Upon approval of planning our engineers will deliver, install and commission the biomass boiler to your chosen site.
4.
RHI accreditation transferal
Our in-house RHI consultant will liaise with original owner to withdraw current RHI application and complete final notice of meter readings. The original accreditation will be transferred to the new owner’s account and a new RHI application will be submitted.
5.
On-going RHI assistance
Pending all criteria has been met, approval will be granted by Ofgem for you to continue the RHI accreditation from the previous owner. GlenFarrow offers continuous RHI account management and support packages following your installation.
