Mole ploughing is a turnkey solution for digging, laying and resurfacing. Our Case 860 mole ploughing machine allows for the laying of 32-110mm pipe and cable. This technique requires minimal mess and no back filling, whilst also reducing labour time by removing the need for excavator works. This method prevents large scale disruption when installing pipe in the ground.
The mole plough works by creating a very neat and narrow trench for pipes and/or cables to be inserted and fed into by the machine. The large blade on the back moves up and down, cutting through the ground to make an entrance for the pipe and cables to be pulled through as the plough moves. The plough has a reel on the front which can be utilised to pull both cable and pipe through at the same time.
