Previous project: Cryptocurrency container
Our engineers designed and developed a container to house cryptocurrency mining computers.
About the project:
GlenFarrow was approached by a customer to provide fabricated housing for approximately 100 cryptocurrency mining computers – which required a large amount of electrical power and cooling. Our engineers designed a secure containerised system that was fully insulated and lined with hardwearing galvanised steel sheeting.
The unit achieved constant, controlled ventilation via a speed controlled roof fan that helped to minimise dust through a large filter and PID temperature controls. All electrical work was completed by our in-house electricians and all circuits were individually wired and protected by RCBOs for maximum safety protection and reliability.
Internal and external lighting was installed to the customers specification along with an extra personnel door and custom fabricated external staircase.
