GlenFarrow fencing kilns are the ideal drying solution for achieving the correct moisture content for UC4 timber treatment. Our kilns are designed to keep the correct temperature and humidity levels throughout the drying process  – creating a final timber product that is suitable for treatment. The control system is versatile and can be set up for different sizes and species of fencing timber.

Drying kilns play an important role in the fencing industry. This is due to ensuring the optimum amount of treatment penetration into the timber to meet UC4 regulations. UC4 is a British standard for any timber intended for outdoor use with constant contact with the ground. Reducing the fibre saturation point of the timber is the best way to ensure correct penetration of chemical into the timber… and our GlenFarrow drying kilns help with just that.
