Welcome to our new GlenFarrow website!
GlenFarrow offers EICR testing and inspections for commercial properties and landlords.
Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is an evaluation of a commercial property’s electrical installation. Our NICEIC registered electricians examine the condition of an existing electrical installation to identify (in order of priority) any deficiencies against the national safety standard.
Once the testing has been conducted on a property, our engineers will provide you with all relevant documentation. The EICR report will show if your electrics are all in good working condition or if there are any defects or errors that need addressing. Our GlenFarrow electricians can then carry out any remedial works necessary.
EICR is a great way to make sure the electrics in your commercial building are safe for your employees and visitors – whilst also ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Fires can occur and spread rapidly in commercial building if the electrics are not properly inspected.
For more information about commercial EICR testing call Rob Black on 01775 722327.
Here are some of the recommended EICR periodic testing frequencies for different commercial buildings (as stated in Guidance Note 3 Inspection and Testing: 18th IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671:2018).
