Our management team understands that having a clear health and safety strategy is integral to GlenFarrow, with having procedures in place to protect the safety of our employees and our customers.

How we keep health and safety at the forefront of our business

Proactive management

GlenFarrow staff are provided with regular training to make sure they are up-to-date on health and safety procedures. All engineers are part of small teams that are expertly managed by experienced and qualified contracts managers.

Progressive solutions

GlenFarrow regularly reviews safety processes and procedures. It is not uncommon for us to amend and enforce company procedures far in excess of common practice. GlenFarrow is a premium contractor that has strategic health and safety solutions.

Toolbox Talks

We deliver regular Toolbox Talks with all of our engineers to promote health and safety throughout our workforce. These take place within every department and have a safety first focused approach. These talks ensure all staff have the correct attitude towards health and safety along with every opportunity to discuss best practice.

Regular training

All staff undergo regular training both for generic health and safety along with more role specific training.

On-site safety

We produce thorough risk assessments and method statements for all projects. To ensure we are compliant at all times we subject ourselves to regular and independent audits to ensure compliance.

Investigation and after incident reporting

GlenFarrow carries out full investigations into every incident to ensure that any opportunities to avoid incidents is recognised. Any updates relating to health and safety are very quickly distributed to the whole team through Toolbox Talks.

Our accreditations

We equip our engineers across all of our departments with relevant accreditations and high standard industry knowledge to make sure that all projects are completed to meet safety regulations.

DBS checks

The Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) helps employers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups. All of our engineers obtain DBS checks before carrying out works in schools, care homes, etc.
