How do I know what heating system my business needs?

How often should I have my commercial boiler serviced?

The recommended frequency for commercial boiler servicing is every 12 months. Annual servicing of a boiler is essential to help keep the boiler working efficiently and safely.

How long does a commercial boiler last?

All systems vary in terms of life expectancy, but typically a commercial boiler should last 15-20 years on average with regular servicing and maintenance.

What should I do if I can smell gas from my heating system?

How long does it take to install a commercial boiler?

There are many factors that determine how long a commercial boiler installation will take – such as size of the property, location of boiler etc. Our commercial gas engineers are qualified in working with and installing commercial gas/LPG (Gas Safe) and oil (OFTEC) systems.

How often should a commercial boiler be replaced?

If your boiler is 15 years or older, it may be time to start thinking about replacing it for a newer model. The older the boiler is the more likely it is to start having issues that could become quite costly, as well as reduced efficiency.

How long will a site visit take?

Site visit times vary depending on the complexity and scale of work required. Length of time needed for a site visit will be discussed with customers prior to attending.

Where can I find the serial number/data plate on my boiler?

Most commercial boiler serial numbers will be located on the drop-down panel on the front of the boiler. If you are unable to locate the serial number, contact your boiler manufacturer and they will be able to assist you.

How do I know if my commercial boiler needs replacing?

A faulty or broken-down boiler often shows signs indicating there is an issue. Some of these include; if the boiler needs to be restarted regularly, no heat is coming from radiators, no hot water, boiler starts making unusual creaking or buzzing noises, a noticeable rise in your energy bills or leaks coming from your boiler.
