RHI Changes September 20th 2017

RHI regulations are to change with effect from 20th September 2017. The planned reforms were laid before Parliament on 31st August, giving them the minimum 20 days notice. The greatest changes to the regulations are to align the small, medium and large biomass into one new tariff. Additionally the Tier 1 load factor will increase from 15% to 35% meaning that boilers can run for 3066 instead of the previous 1314 hours before reaching the threshold.
