There has never been a better time for your business to go electric with the OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme!

The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV – formally known as OLEV) allows UK businesses and organisations to benefit from grant funding towards the purchasing and installation of car charging points.

How much funding is available?

£350 per EV charging socket is available. One business or organisation is allowed up to 40 EV charging sockets. Therefore, you could be entitled up to £14,000 of OZEV grant funding for your workplace!

So how do I apply for an OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme grant?

Our team at GlenFarrow are able to assist you through the grant application process right from the beginning, including all admin work. However, if you choose to complete the application alone follow the steps below:

  1. Your workplace needs to register its intention to have an EV charging point installed. You can do this by visiting this link: https://www.apply-workplace-chargepoint-grant.service.gov.uk/
  2. When your application has been sent off, OZEV will review it and contact you via email on whether you have been successful or if they require more information.
  3. If your application has been successful, you will be issued with a voucher/vouchers to the value of the application.
  4. Once you have received your voucher, get in touch with us via the contact details below to book your installation. Please note: Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of issue (180 days). The installation MUST be completed within this time period.
  5. GlenFarrow will firstly provide you with a full site survey and then our team will commence with the installation.
  6. Once the EV charger installation is completed, you will hand over the voucher to us and we will then claim the value back from OZEV.
