GlenFarrow UK Ltd the Lincolnshire based, Biomass Boiler specialists are again exhibiting at the LAMMA 2017 Show. This is the 7th year they have exhibited at LAMMA. In 2011 GlenFarrow won the LAMMA Award for Best Innovation for their Biomass boilers which was the springboard for over 800 successful Biomass installations.
2017 will see the GlenFarrow team bringing their latest Biomass innovations including a new Plant Room and Wood Chip Dryer modular system, which is designed to work in tandem with their popular batch fed Biomass Boilers, to LAMMA. Other new innovations being officially launched at LAMMA include a remote control and monitoring system. The monitoring system has been designed for use with a mobile phone or Wi-Fi enabled computer or tablet.
The Wood Chip Dryer can also be used for Grain Drying. A state-of- the-art flooring system means that heat and warm air are introduced underneath the grain, ensuring maximum drying efficiency. The dryer works in conjunction with the GlenFarrow boiler and of course qualifies for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) as opposed to fossil fuel powered dryers.
Paul Kitchen, Managing Director of GlenFarrow, said “We have always been at the forefront of development and innovation, this year has seen us introduce systems which are designed to make Biomass more easily controlled remotely.”
Commenting further on the state of the Biomass market Paul said “Farmers and Growers continue to look for ways to reduce the amount of expensive and none environmentally friendly fossil fuels they use. The installation of a Biomass boiler means that otherwise waste or surplus straw and wood can offer a great alternative for heating and drying. Our work developing grain drying systems is significantly reducing fossil fuel usage at peak times.”
