Exporting Industry Leading Technology to Finland
Attendance at FinnMETKO is part of GlenFarrow’s efforts to export their industry leading biomass boilers. The boilers will travel over 2,000 miles to reach the showground. A journey which includes a 35 hour ferry journey between Germany and Finland. GlenFarrow’s boilers are renowned for their industry leading features such as water filled doors or integrated accumulator tanks for the GF50.
Commenting on attendance at FinnMETKO GlenFarrow Managing Director Paul Kitchen said “We already receive enquiries from across the World for our industry leading batch fed biomass boilers. Scandinavia has been a great source of enquiries for us, but customers like to see the product and a show like this is ideal for us. As this is the biggest Forestry Show in Finland we will meet with many key decision makers from a sector where our boilers are ideal for both wood drying, processing and workshop heating. With close to 1,000 boilers sold in the UK we are now opening up new markets. The pound – euro exchange rate means that our boilers are more competitive and offer an alternative to wood chip or pellet boilers that are more common in Europe. It has never been a better time for us to export.”
GlenFarrow will also be exhibiting at the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Co Offaly 18th to 20th September.
