GlenFarrow UK Ltd the Lincolnshire based, Biomass Boiler specialists, have re-launched their biomass boiler servicing department and appointed Wayne Flowers to co-ordinate the servicing department.
With over 800 GlenFarrow biomass boilers now installed, Wayne Flowers will co-ordinate the servicing of boilers across the country. Wayne has worked for GlenFarrow for 6 years in a number of roles most recently within the Trade Counter team. Wayne brings with him great experience of the servicing requirements for GlenFarrow boilers and is customer focused.
Wayne will be responsible for ensuring that over 800 boilers are serviced annually by GlenFarrow’s in house team of engineers ensuring that customers meet all the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) regulations.
Wayne said of his new role “It’s a great opportunity to make a big difference to our customers. I enjoy working with them and this role will bring me into contact with them far more often. I aim to ensure that every one of our boilers is serviced annually, ensuring that they work at their optimum and minimising breakdowns. I will be on call for boiler owners and ensure that any breakdowns are dealt with quickly and efficiently by our team of over 40 field engineers. I am particularly looking forward to improving our planning and making the whole process seamless for customers.”
Commenting Paul Kitchen, Managing Director of GlenFarrow, said “I would like to congratulate Wayne on his new role. With over 800 boilers now in service it was becoming increasingly difficult for the team to plan and schedule annual services and maintenance visits and to deal with call outs and repairs. Wayne will now co-ordinate this work, act as a point of contact for both customers and engineers and improve the overall service that we offer as we continue to move towards 1,000 installed Biomass Boilers.”
